Praise for this book

If you are looking for a good relationship/courtroom/legal drama, read Crooked Lake by P.M. Berk. The short chapter structure made for a quick read that kept me interested until the end. The character development made me want to continue reading to learn of each characters’ fate. Overall, it has a good storyline that is well plotted. I especially liked references to local places that I am familiar with. Towards the end, one of the story lines even made me cry.

The chapters are short, and I quickly found myself very engaged in the storylines and invested in the characters. The story was well thought out, suspenseful, intriguing, and captivating.
